Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is a 15-year-old left-handed opening batsman from Tajpur village in Bihar's Samastipur district. Trained from the age of four by his father Sanjiv Sooryavanshi — a cricket coach — Vaibhav showed extraordinary talent from childhood, scoring centuries in district tournaments at age 8.
His explosive, fearless batting style — characterized by an extraordinary ability to hit sixes at will and a strike rate consistently above 200 — has drawn comparisons to the greatest T20 batsmen in history. Born in Bihar
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is born on 27 March 2011 in Tajpur village, Samastipur district, Bihar. His father Sanjiv Sooryavanshi, a cricket coach, puts a bat in his hands at age 4.
First District Tournament
At age 8, Vaibhav begins dominating local Bihar district tournaments, scoring centuries against players twice his age. His aggressive left-handed batting style catches the eye of state selectors.
Bihar U-16 Captain
Named captain of the Bihar Under-16 team at just 11 years old. Leads the team to the Vijay Merchant Trophy, scoring over 500 runs in the tournament at an average of 83.
Vijay Hazare Trophy Debut
Makes his List A debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for Bihar. Becomes one of the youngest players to represent Bihar in senior domestic cricket, scoring a century on debut.
